Smart textiles and printed electronics: it is often said that humans can perceive their surroundings with five senses - hence the phrase "having all five together". But what if this is sometimes not enough, or if human senses and receptors are simply not sensitive enough? The sensors we are developing can detect, for example, toxic or explosive gases in very low concentrations, heavy metals in waters, or measure the high temperature of distant objects from safety. Not only can we print these sensors using new special materials and technologies on flexible film or paper, but we can even embroider or integrate some sensors directly into clothing. For example, these sensors can be part of modern technologies for firefighters. Acoustics: discover the world of sound and acoustics! We'll show you how music and then society as a whole has changed thanks to electrotechnology. Are you also disturbed by the acoustic smog all around you? Come and find out how noise affects human health and try out different hearing protection options. Do you record a podcast or your own music? You'll find sample materials that will increase clarity in your studio or rehearsal room.
Faculty of mechanical engineering University of West Bohemia
The core of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering exhibition will be a new student project - a competitive mobile robotic rover. The UWB Robotics student team was established during the 2023/2024 academic year and began development of the first prototype in the summer semester of 2024. The mobile robotic platform that will be demonstrated here is now complete and will serve as the basis for the first competition rover in the future. In addition, we will show visitors other related activities of the team.

That's why the devSandbox project was created to help aspiring programmers find the right direction and the desire to create. It's a kind of sandbox for programmers where they can freely create their own projects and learn from other members under the guidance of an experienced programmer/mentor. He imparts his knowledge through mentoring, lectures, workshops and helps members to move forward effectively. We also aim to connect them to partners afterwards and help them find jobs.
Digiteq Automotive
Digiteq Automotive will present a unique mobile simulator that focuses on risk perception in transport. Thanks to pre-animated traffic risk situations in virtual reality, drivers can experience and solve crisis situations without being in real traffic. The Movitren project was commissioned by the Association of Driving Schools of the Czech Republic and Digiteq Automotive experts applied their skills in programming, virtual reality and simulator design to its design and development.

This is an aeroponic system for growing plants in the home. Irrigation is carried out with mist makers. It has lower water consumption than growing in soil and the plant growth is faster. The system includes a water level sensor, a thermometer to measure the ambient temperature, LED indication of the water level in the tank. An application is developed for the project which is ready to display the data received.
